Today we celebrate PFLAG founder Jeanne Manford, born on this day in 1920.

Marching with her son, Morty Manford, at the 1972 NYC Christopher Street Liberation Day March—the precursor to NY Pride—was a bold act of #LeadingWithLove.

Since founding PFLAG in 1973, millions have taken her lead: PFLAG parents, families, and allies—united with LGBTQ+ people—providing support, offering education, and advocating for lasting policy change for 50 years.
