It's Election Time: Vote Your Values!

State and local elections are just around the corner and we need YOU to lead with love at the ballot box! Presidential elections often hold the spotlight, but the people and policies responsible for decisions that directly impact your day-to-day life—including books bans, classroom censorship, gender-affirming care access, facility access, and many more—dominate the state and local levels.

Remember: When you love someone LGBTQ+, it is critical to vote for legislation—and legislators—that won't deny your loved ones their rights and freedoms--because love and liberty are inseparable. Vote for your values this Tuesday, November 4. To find your polling location and what’s on your ballot, visit vote411.org/pflag.

PFLAG Connects: Communities - November Meetings

Every month, our PFLAG Connects: Communities meet for safe, moderated, virtual meetings to seek guidance, ask questions, and learn from others who have been through similar experiences. Our current community offerings gather people of Latino, Black/African American, AANHPI (Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander) backgrounds, as well as military families (a program in partnership with Modern Military), families with gender-diverse loved ones, dads, and grandparents!

Check out the November PFLAG Connects: Communities meeting times at pflag.org/connects-communities.

November is Transgender Awareness Month

2025 has been quite the year for trans awareness. Since Trump’s inauguration, trans people have been THE hot topic—emblazoned in every headline, embroiled in every debate, existing under constant questioning and scrutiny.

Trans youth, trans adults, trans elders, trans people of color, trans immigrants, and everyone under the gender nonconforming umbrella deserve equality, justice, healthcare, safety, respect, joy, liberation, bodily autonomy, legal protection, safety, housing, employment, education, and above all, a loving and affirming world.

To our trans loved ones: We love you, we’re here for you, and we’re fighting for you. 🏳️‍⚧️
