STTA Live! International Self-Care Day

While International Self-Care Day was last month (July 24th), advocating for yourself or your LGBTQ+ loved ones means making space and time for self-care all year long.

We're highlighting a past episode of Something to Talk About Live, where we discussed the critical role of self care in allyship and advocacy.

Stay Tuned! Big Things Coming Soon

While August is a time for end-of-summer vacations and back-to-school planning, here at PFLAG National it promises to be one of our most important and busiest months of the year— and we want to make sure you don't miss a thing!

Next week, we'll launch PFLAG Votes 2024, to get out the vote this November. We'll also circulate a critical short survey on DEI efforts at PFLAG—we need to hear from all of you about what's working, what isn't, and how we can grow PFLAG to ensure it's a place where everyone belongs.

All of this, plus our national members will receive an invitation to our October 6th annual meeting PLUS a ballot to vote for national board members.

Keep an eye on your email for all of the great things coming in the next couple of weeks. We can't wait to share more AND hear from you!

PFLAG Connects: Communities August Meetings

PFLAG Connects: Communities (PCC) provide a safe, virtual, moderated space where people with shared experiences can connect each month. PFLAG National’s current communities gather people of Latino, Black/African American, and Asian American and Pacific Islander backgrounds to gain support, ask questions, and learn from others who have been through similar experiences.

We also host a Military Community meeting, in partnership with our friends at the Modern Military Association of America (MMAA).

Learn more and check out our upcoming meetings for August.
