Nominations Close THIS FRIDAY for PFLAG Chapter Awards

Have you honored your local chapter by nominating them for a 2025 PFLAG National Chapter Award? If not, time is of the essence—you’ve got just 5 more days before the nomination window closes this Friday.

Presented at our biennial convention, Learning With Love, PFLAG National Chapter Awards honor chapters that are going above and beyond to help achieve PFLAG’s mission of creating a caring, just, and affirming world for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them.

All chapters in good standing are eligible for this award, and the deadline for submissions is this Friday, August 8th, so we encourage you to  submit your nomination now, at pflagnation.al/2025ChapterNoms. Honorees will be announced on Tuesday, September 9th.

PFLAG Connects: Communities August Meetings

Every month, our PFLAG Connects: Communities meet for safe, moderated, virtual meetings to seek guidance, ask questions, and learn from others who have been through similar experiences. Our current community offerings gather people of Latino, Black/African American, AANHPI (Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander) backgrounds, as well as military families, families with gender-diverse loved ones, dads, and grandparents!

Check out the August PFLAG Connects: Communities meeting times at pflag.org/connects-communities.

Ally is a Verb

Friendly reminder: Being an ally means ACTIVELY learning, advocating, and speaking up for your LGBTQ+ loved ones. You cannot claim the title without putting in the work. 💪
