Knowing how to shape and effectively tell our PFLAG stories to soften hearts, change minds, and create a lasting difference is a skill that separates the talkers from the activists and advocates. And with an election coming up this November, that skill is more important than ever. This highly interactive, 75-minute session will teach participants how to pick a personal experience and develop it into an engaging, must-hear narrative that can help get out the vote (GOTV) in their communities!

PFLAG Parent Day, which coincides with National Parent Day, is a day to celebrate LGBTQ+ affirming parents and all the people who fill a parenting role for LGBTQ+ kids of all ages.

NEW! PFLAG Connects: Communities Grandparent Community

We are excited to announce the launch of the new PFLAG Connects: Grandparent Community, part of our PFLAG Connects: Communities (PCC) program. PCC provides safe, virtual, moderated spaces where people with shared experiences can connect each month.

Our meetings will take place for one hour on the last Monday of each month, at 8pm ET/5pm PT, beginning Monday, July 29th.

As with all PFLAG support groups, there are no dues, fees, or membership required to join. For the PFLAG Connects: Grandparent Community meeting, anyone who is a grandparent of an LGBTQ+ person is welcome to attend. We’re also excited to share that this meeting will include a Gender Spectrum Breakout Room especially for grandparents of transgender and gender-diverse grandkids.
