Generation Next: A New PFLAG Short Film

In 2023, queer Latinx writer/director/producer, Nick Oceano- Armendariz, collaborated with three young queer filmmakers on our film, “Pieces of Me”. While on set, Nick interviewed the three filmmakers about what they believed to be the most pressing issues for their generation and beyond.

PFLAG Connects: Communities - Grandparent Community

Calling All Grandparents of LGBTQ+ Grandkids!

We are excited to announce the launch of the new PFLAG Connects: Grandparent Community, part of our PFLAG Connects: Communities (PCC) program. PCC provides safe, virtual, moderated spaces where people with shared experiences can connect each month.

This new meeting will include a Gender Spectrum breakout group, just for grandparents with transgender and gender-diverse grandchildren.

Our meetings will take place for one hour on the last Monday of each month, at 8pm ET/5pm PT, beginning Monday, July 29th.

GLSEN 2024 National School Climate Survey

GLSEN has recently launched the 2024 National School Climate Survey. This survey aims to understand the school experiences of LGBTQ+ youth. The insights gathered will inform our continuous efforts to create safe and affirming environments for LGBTQ+ youth in schools. 

The survey is available to students aged 13 or older who identify as LGBTQ+ and have attended middle or high school in the United States, a U.S. territory, or a U.S. military base overseas during the 2023-2024 school year.
