Dear Chapter Leader,

As we start winding down for this fiscal year and looking ahead to the next few months, I'm thrilled to announce our new Membership Portal! This portal will replace the current Chapter Hub, offering you a more user-friendly platform. With this new Membership Portal, you'll not only be able to manage your chapter more efficiently but also handle your National membership seamlessly.

Our official launch date for the new Membership Portal is set for mid-September. However, please note that all Chapter Hub accounts will be temporarily inaccessible from September 11 to September 17, 2023, as we prepare for the transition. To ensure a smooth process, please ensure that your chapter board records reflect your current leadership before the freeze period begins. Our new login system will also be tied to your personal email on file, so please ensure the correct email is listed on your records!

In anticipation of the new system launch, we will be offering a training session in early October. This session will assist you in smoothly transitioning to the new Membership Portal. More details on this training will be provided as we get closer. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the new Membership Portal, please contact Brooke Smith (bsmith@pflag.org).

Thank you for all that you do,

Jamie Curtis (she/her)
Director of Chapter Engagement

Nominate a Chapter for a PFLAG National Chapter Award - One Week Left!

Every other year, we gather for our national convention and use that opportunity to honor our chapters with a PFLAG National Chapter Award. Now is the time to nominate your chapter, or any chapter; submissions are due by August 29th.

The PFLAG National Chapter Awards  honor the PFLAG chapters that have gone above and beyond in service of PFLAG’s vision and mission. This year's theme, "Getting off the Curb: Expanding PFLAG’s Reach," pays tribute to PFLAG’s visionary founder, Jeanne Manford, and her efforts to create lasting change through advocacy and support.

Expanding PFLAG’s reach in support of PFLAG’s mission and vision encompasses a broad variety of PFLAG chapter activities and actions, from reaching out to new communities to engaging chapter members with events to focusing on diversity and inclusion efforts, and so much more.
By nominating a deserving chapter, you will not only acknowledge the hard work of their leadership and members, but also inspire others to continue the legacy of Jeanne Manford and PFLAG.

Nominating a chapter is as easy as filling out this quick form.  The deadline to complete a submission is Tuesday, August 29th. All chapters in good standing are eligible for this award, so we encourage you to show your chapter pride and submit your nomination now. At least one member of winning chapters must be present to receive the award at the convention.

Have questions? Reach out to your Chapter Engagement staffer for support.
