Dear Chapter Leader, Exciting things are happening here at PFLAG National throughout August, and we want to make sure that, as chapter leaders, you have all of the information you need to participate. We’ve circulated Regional Director ballots across seven regions—Pacific Northwest, Gulf, North Atlantic, Mountain West, Southern, Mid-Pacific, and South Atlantic—for you to vote for new and returning RDs. Please ensure that you and your chapter members get your ballots in by no later than Wednesday, August 21st. Later today, we’ll be sending you an invitation to our annual meeting, along with a ballot to cast your vote for PFLAG National Board members. We hope you’ll participate. Next week, we are launching our PFLAG Votes 2024 campaign so that PFLAG members and supporters everywhere can help get out the vote and ensure that our LGBTQ+ loved ones and families will be safe and protected. To learn more about that, make sure you check out our August PFLAG Academy Online session (details below). And finally, also this month, we have a DEI survey coming your way. We want to hear from you and all of PFLAG’s members about who you are, your DEI experiences at PFLAG, and how we can ALL work together to ensure that PFLAG is a place where everyone belongs.
