Dear Chapter Leader, With the summer heat overwhelming many of us I can't help but look towards the fall. One of the things I am most looking forward to is Learning With Love: The 2023 PFLAG National Convention taking place in Arlington, VA October 19-22. For those of you who have not attended an in person PFLAG Convention before, they are an incredible experience! In addition to workshops and speakers that are designed specifically for chapter leaders and members, the opportunity to connect with and share space with other PFLAGers from across the country is hard to describe. Networking and forming lasting bonds with other attendees is one of the many benefits to attending. Also, with the convention back in the DC area for the first time in 10 years, attendees have the opportunity to lobby and make their voices heard on Capitol Hill. If you are looking to learn more, network with peers and be energized for the work ahead, this is a great place for you to be.
