| Dear Chapter Leader, We’re taking a break! The PFLAG National office will be closed from July 1st through July 9th for a well-deserved rest period after an incredible pride month. We’ve been busy and we know you have, too! Thank you for every moment of #LeadingWithLove this June Pride season, we couldn’t do this without your ongoing support and dedication. While our office is closed, our online resources and support systems will remain accessible. A few resources you may find helpful: If you need additional support, please feel free to reach out to your chapter engagement staffer by email, and we will follow up upon our return to the office, beginning July 10th. Wishing you a wonderful summer ahead as June’s Pride season comes to a close! Thank you for all that you do, Shaun Connors (he/they) Chapter Engagement Manager |

| | | This week, Jean-Marie Navetta, PFLAG National’s Director of Learning and Inclusion, takes part in her last episode, so we’re having her join as our guest! We’ll talk about her 17 years of work with PFLAG National; her passion for queer history, literature, and culture; and the ways in which the work of inspiring new allies and bringing them into the conversation has changed over the years. Join us this Thursday, June 29 for Something to Talk About Live! |

| Thursday, July 27th | 8:30pm ET/5:30pm PT: What the Plus?: Understanding and Supporting Expansive LGBTQ+ Identities Lesbian. Gay. Bisexual. Transgender. Queer. Simple, right? As allies become more engaged in LGBTQ+ spaces and advocacy, they often have questions about “the plus.” Please join PFLAG National for this 75-minute workshop to learn more about those identities that go beyond the LGBT basics - including nonbinary, pansexual, asexual, aromantic, intersex, and polyamorous. We’ll discuss ways to demonstrate allyship and develop effective chapter programming. And we’ll help you get connected with organizations led by, and resources created for, those who hold these often invisible and underserved identities. |
