Dear Chapter Leader,

April is National Volunteer Month and we are so grateful for everything you do as PFLAG chapter leaders and volunteers, not only this month, but all year long. I know these are particularly challenging times for our community, and it often feels overwhelming. Remember: you are not alone in facing the legislative and societal challenges—we are in this together. PFLAG wouldn’t be here without you and the incredible work each and every chapter does for our LGBTQ+ loved ones.

Thank you for all that you do,

Jamie Curtis (she/her)
Vice President, Chapter & Communities Engagement

Canva Corner: Social Media Graphics Updates

With Instagram moving away from square graphics, we’ve started offering 2 sizes of social media graphics for you to use and customize in Canva. You’ll find those in the Chapters - Social Media folder in our PFLAG Canva team. Graphics with “Instagram” in the title are best suited for that platform, while the other landscape/horizontal graphic is best for Facebook, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky, and other platforms.

If your chapter does not have an account in our PFLAG Canva team, sign up now! Every chapter can have one account in the PFLAG National Canva team, so we ask that you provide a general chapter email address so multiple chapter leaders can utilize your account. Reach out to branding@pflag.org if you have any questions about Canva. The digital team is happy to help!
