| Dear Chapter Leader, We hope you joined and enjoyed our Branding Workshop for PFLAG Chapter Leaders last week. Over 200 of you joined live, and we’re so happy to hear your excitement for all of these new materials. Didn’t get to join, didn’t sign up, or want to re-watch the session? No problem! You can access the session on demand, any time. During the session, we promised you a whole host of more resources and links, so continue reading for those! This is also a great time to make sure that you and all of the leaders of your chapter are signed up to get our Tuesday chapter leader emails, Leadership Matters and Leadership Learnings. Please connect with Angel Kearns, our Chapter Services Coordinator, via email at akearns@pflag.org for support with that. Jamie Curtis (she/her) Director of Chapter Engagement |

| | The PFLAG Chapter Leader Web Portal |
| Over the years, we’ve heard from chapter leaders that they want a place on the PFLAG National website just for them to access resources and materials. We’re happy today to launch chapterleaders.pflag.org - a new password-protected portal just for you! This is different from the PFLAG Chapter Hub where you update your data. This is a portal that has things like the new brand guide, the PFLAG logo generator, PFLAG Academy Online sessions for chapter leaders, messaging guides, and more. Please know that we are starting to populate this portal with resources and it will continually be updated in the weeks and months ahead. At the moment, all chapter leaders will use the same login credentials to access the site. For security purposes, we have included the login information below as an image. You will need to type this information in, as you will be unable to copy/paste it from the image below. If you are unable to see the image please contact your Chapter Engagement Coordinator. Visit chapterleaders.pflag.org and use the login information to get started! |

| | Branding: Next Steps and Resources |
| When you log into the chapter leader portal--that's the portal mentioned above, with login info in the image--you’ll find a whole section on PFLAG brand assets that you’ll want to dig into! That includes: - The PFLAG Chapter Brand Guide
- PFLAG logos
- PFLAG fonts, and
- The PFLAG Logo Generator, which you’ll use to create your chapter logo. A reminder that your chapter logo should reflect your official chapter name, and should NOT include your state unless you’ve previously used that because there are multiple chapters with the same name but in different geographical locations. We will be keeping an eye on chapter logos and will reach out to you if we have questions.
In the brand assets section, you’ll also find a link to the branding workshop video and the deck that Teal Media presented in that workshop. During the workshop, there were some great questions asked, and we did our best to respond to them all, real time. We’ve created an FAQ from those questions, which you’ll find in the chapter leader portal in the branding assets section, in hopes that they might address some ongoing questions. If you haven’t yet signed up for Canva, be sure to do so at pflag.org/canvasignup. We’ll get your account set up - and remember that you should use your main chapter email address for this so that your chapter leaders can all access this account. Not seeing your question answered in the FAQ? Be sure to drop in for support from Teal during weekly virtual office hours: - Thursday, Jan 26, 7-8pm ET
- Wednesday, Feb 1, 12-1pm ET
- Monday, Feb 6, 6-7pm ET
- Wednesday, Feb 15, 1-2pm ET
- Wednesday, Feb 22, 8:30-9:30pm ET

Check out our latest Annual Chapter Responsibilities email message. If you need help, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Angel Kearns (akearns@pflag.org) or the Chapter Engagement staffer for your region. ** Please note: This year, the IRS is only accepting electronic filings, but their online filing portal is currently down. If you are trying to file a 990 e-postcard, you may call the IRS at 877-829-5500 or wait until the site is back up (no current ETA). All other types of filings must be submitted online. |
