Dear PFLAG Supporter,

We know Pride is busy and want to be sure you saw this important and timely information about Regional Director’s Council elections in Leadership Learnings on May 30th. Every two years there is an opportunity for chapter leaders to express interest in becoming a volunteer Regional Director.

PFLAG National Offices Will Be Closed—Get Your Canva Content In!

Pride month is in full swing and, like all of you, the PFLAG National staff is working double time to support our members, supporters, and chapters. 

To that end, I wanted to give you all a heads up that the PFLAG National offices will be closed the first week of July (July 1-5) so that our staff can recharge and continue serving our community with renewed energy and commitment. We will not be checking email or voicemail during this time.

Additionally, we will not be reviewing Canva submissions. To that end, please submit any content needed for the week of July 1-5—including any July 4th posts—by no later than June 29. We will continue reviewing designs throughout the weekend prior to July 1.

Rural Think Tank Alert

We know that rural chapters have unique challenges, including navigating anti-LGBTQ+ cultural climates. Whether you have struggled to figure out how to do outreach and promote your PFLAG chapter in a hostile community or had success finding and reaching the LGBTQ+ and ally community, the upcoming Rural Think Tank on July 17th will provide an opportunity to discuss and share ideas. Register to attend July’s Rural Think Tank, taking place from 5pm-6:30pm PT/8pm-9:30pm ET.
